Our team

The staff at Orgelbau Krawinkel

In recent years, we were given the opportunity of carrying out a number of interesting organ restoration projects. It was also necessary to hire new staff to cope with the expansion in the new organs division.

Currently, our master workshops for organ building in Trendelburg-Deisel and Höxter-Godelheim have a staff of 17.

The team consists of organ builders, master carpenters and restorers. Four specialists are employed in the organ tuning, service and maintenance divisions.

Apprenticeship places

Each year, we give one or two apprentices the opportunity of learning organ craftsmanship.

Potential apprentices first complete two to four weeks of practical training to check their aptitude for the profession of organ building. The duration of the apprenticeship is 3 1/2 years.

Block instruction is provided at the vocational school for music instrument builders, organ builders division, in Ludwigsburg.
